oh I so agree with you that I love adoption and parent/kid bonding stories especially if to do with fathers or fathers figure bonding with children and just love stories and art of my favourite characters from my favourite fandoms
like Severus and Harry be family this my favourite family one along with Fullmetal Alchemist characters Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye been parental figures to the brothers Edward and Alphonse ElricΒ
and my heart is melting by just seeing these two just be happy with each other

So cute! Snape is smiling, it's the end of the world, run! The saddest thing is that he was never really known as Harry by barely anyone; he was either "the boy who lived" or James' son. I think it's interesting to think of what could make Snape see Harry not just James' son.

I'm also a huge fan of familial relationships, except my obsession is with surrogate father/son bonds, in particular, so yeah - Severitus material is AWESOME!
And your rendition of this theme is especially awe-inspiring!Β
P.S. If you're looking for an especially well-written fic that deals with a slow-mounting, but credible father/son undertone between Snape and Harry, I recommend "Emerald Eyes" by JadeSullivan from ff.net. Her sequel is a WIP and it contains CP (corporal punishment), but it's been my all-time favorite. This is why I love fandom power, hehe.
