Would love to discuss your work on possibly using it on my first book's cover. My main character flies an Me 109 K6. I can send a preliminary colored version that I colored in on a full side view schematic. Your work is really inspiring! Thanx

One of the few German "super weapons" that actually worked as envisioned.Β Unfortunately (for them, anyway) they came too late to make a real impact. Β Imagine the outcome if the Nazis hadΒ made these operational just two years sooner.Β They would have easily put and end to the Allied bombing campaign.Β Β Β

Even though they served an evil dictatorship, this is one of the things I give credit to. Germany produced some of the best weapons of the war.

And they were pretty good at wasting their resources while developing these.

Maybe... One day ^^
At the moment I'm more focused on the ww2 period... For me, this is the most fascinating period of the aeronautic history.... Maybe because it was the transition between good old biplane like the HS123 with lots of dogfight and the jet fighter at the end of the war which was too fast for close combat.

The blue and red is the only marking that might be off. On the other hand, the jets were labeled with many different marking so a personal touch doesn't make much of a difference if it's correct or not. I saw the thumbnail and thought 'Are those Messerschmitts?' And yes, yes they are. Very good work.

Thank you !
The blue and red bands are the classic defense of the reich's markings... I've found an example of reference : [link]
But I agree with you... The luftwaffe used so many different type of camo and markings.

Ahh! I see, well now I know a bit more from that.
Yes, they even had patterns for winter assault.
