Yes, pasted and blended in an actual moon image. But if I would have drew it in, who know what it would have looked like. ^^

I'd say you did her justice
In general, it's a good pic: colors, ballance, shading/highlighting... but the single little detail which I think was pretty neat was the line-fade to the background. Very simple, and almost unnoticeable, but it was a very nice touch.

The hair ended up looking great, and the eye is quite cute to look at. A different veiw for that character i must say.

Just out of curiosity, I hear all sorts of people on the internet refer to digital coloring as "CG." Does anyone know what these letters are supposed to mean? I had assumed it was a bastardization of "Computer-Generated Image" as in the "CGI" used in movie special effects, but I'm starting to wonder if there's a legitimate meaning that I haven't thought of.

CG refers to pictures created or colored on the computer, hence the whole 'computer generated' image, or coloring.

Ah, that's what I thought. It just bugs me because that implies the computer is responsible for the color selection and lighting and geometry of the image, when the only aspect that the computer is responsible for is replacing your markers with pixels. It's really a computer-assisted image if anything. It just confuses what the skills are and who gets credit for the resulting image. Blah.

It's kind of hit or miss with the hair shine. I had to rely on the select tool. I didn't have anything good like a tablet to work with.

Her whole head (including hair) looks fabulous... Great skin tones and background, too. Beautiful soft coloring. However, might I suggest making her arm's existence a bit more obvious? Because, as it stands, it looks like she has no right arm.

At first I was going to have the coloring so obscure in the lower part that it would not have been such a big deal, but since I did alot more coloiring, it's pretty apparant like you said.
