Description Brooklyn Bridge with Nikon D5000 and Sigma 10-20mm.

I was thinking about cloning out the buildings in the background. What do you think?

I think it would be interesting if you cloned it out, but I can't see it working?

The perspective is awesome, though. I really like how the structure seems to be stretching out towards us, or rather, stretching out further away, if that makes sense.

I do feel that you could crop the bottom a bit, as it still has a hint of civilisation... or that's what I feel. There could be more contrast to make the atmosphere and mood more profound, but I can understand if you don't want it overly done.

The clouds add some great depth to this piece. I also like the concept and the width of it all.

Lovely stuff.

Actually I wasnt high in the US

No, seriously, this shot was taken within crowds of hundreds of people. I could barely see my own feet...

Absolutely beautiful

The B&W is perhaps the best avenue for this photo, and it turned out wonderful. The "geometricity" of the lines are very interesting... Had I walked into this setting and tried to compose this shot I probably would've moved on thinking the wires were too "noisy".. but you pulled it off and it looks spectacular!

Wonderful! And, of course I am overwhelmed with jealousy that you have been able to photograph NYC

Thanks

The picture is now about 3 months old and I didnt really consider putting it up here until I started playing around with it the other day. A little crop to erase the peoples heads, S/W and some according settings, tilted it a tiny bit and here it is! I am astonished myself

NYC is so worth the trip! Specially for a photographer. The facades and the unstoppable traffic and sheer number of people is unbelievable. If you visit NY one day you will find yourself at night time on the Times Square lifting your finder to your eye, looking around and putting the camera down again. Its really hard to focus on one single composition there because its just overwhelming. Hope you go there sometime!
