The Nightwatcher managed to follow the crew in secret to their hidden layer.
The crew was ready to fight but the night watcher made no harm to the point where he powered down showing his identity as Keno Cruz.

April knows him in science class, Casey knows him in Gym class and Candy knows him for having a side job as a pizza delivery boy. Keno just wanted to apologize for fighting the turtles earlier and wants to join them. The gang starts to argue whether Keno should join them or not, then Splinter enters in breaking up the argument and has a talk with Keno.

Splinter: I have some questions about your skills Keno.

Keno: Yes, of course, ask away sir- Master Splinter-sir.

Splinter: How were you able to learn such techniques?

Keno: I used to train at a local dojo when I was 10 unfortunately that Dojo closed 2 years ago. So I decided to train myself. Reading books and learning about ancient techniques long forgotten.

Splinter: You are a quick learner Keno yet you still have much to learn.

Keno: that's what my master said when he gave me his suit. after I told him who I'd met we both agreed that maybe I should join you guys. Since we both have a common enemy just thought it would help if we cooperate. I'll understand if I must earn your families trust.

Splinter: Trust is hard to earn yet easily lost Keno. That choice is up to my sons and their friends whether they want you to join them but for now, I must ask you to leave.
