Well, not that I know of, but it's almost certain to have happened at some point, and I just needed to get it done.

They sure do, cos they don't pose. Those are the best portraits in my opinion, the spontaneous ones.

This is a beautiful series of pictures...the colors, tones, and contrast are really wonderful. If I had to pick the one that's the best compositionally/technically and the one that moves me the most, I'd have to say it's the one in the center. While I like the one on the right for the motion and the frivolity in it (the joyous nature)...I think the center one has a simple/crisp/clear quality to it that is just wonderful. The young kid seems both too big for the space but too small for the world at the same time...and yet, seeming so ridged at the edge of the shore...against the retreating light...there's something very warm there...I can't say it any better than that.
And only because it hurts the image to some extent...the bottom left hand corner of the left picture seems very, very dark.
You have an eye for the beautiful m8...and this stuff is beautiful.

Ooooh, I don;t think I could pick any one in particular as a fave, but I do like the ideas you put forward on the middle one...the too big for the space.........Very very true.
Thanks again for your continued candor.

the artwork is great for sure.
but the title in connection with the waves and the sea strikes me in a strange way. thinking of all the people who've just died in the flood. just a spontaneous association...

it frustrates me when people fav things without saying why... i must admit that i am guilty of it once or twice, but often it is simply because i have no words to describe why i love the work so..
this is a very cute little series.. perhaps the middle one could have had a straighter horizon to even out the angles a bit, but otherwise, i see nothing wrong.. the colours are gorgeous, the shilhouettes are a nice addition and your whole portrayal of the concept works very nicely.
top job!

Yeah it is. The horizon is the line beyond which you cannot see anything (the sea level). The shore line (where the waves are washing up) is the one that isn't straight....we are talking about the same line here aren't we?
