My first drawing ever because someone pushed me to draw something. Hope you like the drawing .I wouldnβt have ever imagined making something so cool thanks man for the art advice and the video tutorials to improve. Canβt wait to draw more badass characters in the future. I just need to get faster at drawing now this took me 1 month to draw being a noob.Blueblazeartist

Very good, especially if this is you first drawing. But good even for a seasoned artist. Very interesting line hatching technique, I like it. And I see your skill at greyscale shading, did you use graphite only? Did you use a smudge stick or just your fingers?

Mechanical Pencil only on cheap printer paper as that is all I have currently. As for drawing I only know how to draw this character because I grew up watching He man so itβs a memory lane thing. Ear swabs was what I used to blend as I donβt have smudge sticks or fancy art supplies just common things in my house.

I know the feeling, a lot of my older drawings are on regular copy paper using 0.5 m mech pencil and a large HB pencil for shading.
And I feel you on the fan art as well, it's so much easier for me to draw characters from stuff I watch or have watched a lot. It took a lot of learning before I could draw a new character from scratch. A lot of art books, tutorials, and anatomy studies. None of that is required to be an artist of f course. But it certainly made it easier to understand how to draw the human body with the right proportions.
However you develop your technique, I'm looking forward to seeing what else you create.

I knew you could draw if you really wanted to, awesome first attempt seems like you really worked hard to make the skull that became fanart π€£. I do have a question thru how did you get the pencil to blend like that? The greyscale seems like a style your good at and you can keep improving further. Great job seems like I can learn from you pal. Keep improving keep drawing.

So funny itβs reversed now I never thought I would see the day I would post something on this site much less have a awesome artist like you comment you actually like it. The greyscale was something you taught me actually I just used it for pencil. The ear swabs was the secret dude π . I was surprised when I used them to move around the pencil. Thanks for motivating me

Just being faster isn't the best you know π. Posting one a week is great as I used to post Daily but found that most people were just annoyed. So my advice would be to not be faster just be consistent with your art. I have problems with the consistent part as this is a hobby so I'm drawing on my free time, so I can't spend the same amount of time or care for every drawing π wish I could.
