Description
For my trompe l'oeil assignment, and my first every attempt at this type of realism. I enjoyed the subject and the challenge of painting like this. Had a minor emergency where my watercolor bled under tape and I thought it was ruined, but I was able to save it with gouache (after 4 hours of fixing).Related content

That looks so cool, I love pictures where it has the multiple pieces overlapping each other and creating a scene like this where it has the drawing, pictures of shells, fossils, book, all the little details coming together to create such and incredible piece. Also your print on the paper looks perfect, I swear it looks like it could have been typed. beautifully done.
