Now that I'm back in the loop and doing more WoW Artwork I decided to kick things off by restoring one of my favorite pieces from right before I quit.Cept now I have a new girlfriend so I'm just going to use my female character instead, lol.
In this picture is Pyri'dorael Emberheart (my character), her Mechano-Hog and the front gate to the Emberheart Estate. She was once a Death Knight, but when confronted by a Naaru she was given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to return to a living state.
Before taking up the offer she was given an ultimatum; she must become a Priestess of the Light or Discipline and if her vow of pacifism is broken the Naaru would remake her into a Death Knight... The runes on her thigh are the mark that binds her to this pact. If you look closely you'll see that the column of runes are vertically mirroring each other. What was done can also be undone ;]
There are two additional versions of this piece where I was experimenting with the focus switching between foreground and background.

Long story short:
Pyri died -> Became Death Knight -> Set free -> Joined Horde -> Wanted to be alive again -> Made deal with Naaru -> Is alive again at the cost of total Pacifism.
Those runes burn her skin to remind her to be a good girl; or else she's Undead again.
