Am i being stupid? Is the shadow for effect or will it be part of the icon? presumably shodows on the launcher would need to be switched off to maximize the effect.

Well it took me a long time to do this many icons. I have been so busy at work that I was left with just enough time to cook diner, take the dog out, and go to bed plus you add the fact it takes a couple of hours to do each icon and then you have to go back to clean them up.
