I love overcast days. It's the easiest way to get even lighting and great saturation like this.This miniature Japanese Maple stands just about 2 feet tall, yet is every bit as impressive as a full-sized specimen.

This is still, to this day, one of my favourites of yours.. I have a print of it a friend bought me, though I haven't gotten around to getting it framed, I will very soon!

yes i love japanese maple but for i live in queensland Brisbane so the climate only allows me for two colours green and dead

It is just a strain of the Japanese Maple. Some are red year round, some are not.

Love it! I just moved into my first house and it has a large japanese maple growing in the courtyard. I've always loved them and am so happy that I have one in my own yard. I'm going to use this as my wallpaper and hopefully buy a print of it soon. Thanks for this!
