I really want to come visit Japan one day. Maybe next year when i come visit Korea.

Don't remember Fushimi Inari being in "Last Samurai".

Featured heavily in "Memoirs of a Geisha", but "Last Samurai"?

Thanks.

i love this shot! it's beautiful!

would you mind terribly much if i used it as a background in one of my pieces?

billsabub In reply to surf-4-life [2006-10-09 02:15:04 +0000 UTC]

Actually, yes I would mind. But thank you for asking.

I have given permission in the past, only to find that the final result was certainly nothing that I wanted to see my images involved with.

Again, thank you for having the character to ask. I do appreciate that.

And thank you for your kind words.

billsabub In reply to Amakudari [2006-10-02 02:16:39 +0000 UTC]

That's the place to do it.

I highly recommend late autumn (mid-November). The downside is that you'll have to make reservations for hotel space early, since it seems as if all of Japan goes to Kyoto to see the fall colors.
