i was sad about there being no Bill shimeji!!!! >.<so i made my own n.n
ok so for those of you who dont know what a shimeji is;
its a little dude creature thingy that walks around your screen and stuff. you can pick them up and throw them around and stuff. they can be quite mischievous though, they can pick up your windows and throw them and by georg they can multiply! be careful, if they multiply too much your computer slows down a HEAP!
how to get them up and running
click on the link below, download the file, unzip* it using an unzipping program (try 7zip, its pretty good), then just double click the shimeji icon inside the folder and a little bill should fall down
sorry its a little dodgy -.- but it is one of my first attempts at making my own shimeji

*to unzip a file just right click it and choose the option 'extract' or 'unzip'

It doesn't work! I unzipped it and every thing but... It didn't work! This happens with all the zip files I get! Any one knows what's going on? Andy and C.C. won't work either!

Once extracted, open file.
See three folders, two programs, and txt. Document (this may not be here.)
Rename txt. Doc. ライセンス if found.
Open the Conf. folder.
See the smallest XML doc. usually 10 KB (This maybe called Behaviors)
Rename as 行動
Find largest XML doc. usually 43 KB (This may be called Actions)
Rename as 動作

Yeah, I downloaded this thing a while ago and I'm still having a lot of trouble setting it up... I downloaded java and all that, but when I try to open the shimeji.jar file, it says "Java exception has ocurred" IDK, I guess everyone was meant to have a shimeji but me...

It's such a process that I decided to work with Bill first. It's the same process for all of the ones I have.

damn...you can check with the admins on the shimeji group, they're the professionals.
I myself can't work them at all anymore, my computer doesn't like them so I can't try to fix them myself :/

I did start a Tom one, it has been requested a few times, but when my computer died I lost a lot of files and my Tom-shimeji-in-the-making was one of them
but yes, I think I will start again because Bill needs a friend

do you use a windows 7? because if so...DA DA NA NA NA NAAAAAAAA!!!! [link] <-- problem fix!
and if not....try using a shimeji you know is working then just copy and paste all the items from the 'img' folder in the bill shimeji and paste them into the 'img' of the working shimeji

alright so you dont know how to unzip the file? just right click it and there should be an option to either 'extract file' or 'unzip file' if not then go to google or wherever and search for a free download of 7zip or a program similar

hmmm this seems to be happening with my shimeji's quite frequently lately :/
well what i usually do if one of my shimeji's don't work i just get a shimeji that i know works and replace all the pictures in the 'img' folder with the ones from the Bill shimeji and it usually works
