I love everything about this pic, how it references the box office and how the Avengers are judges. It's incredibly clever ♥ I feel so bad for Kick Ass though, I thought it was a good movie lol.

Oh yes, don't get me wrong, I love Kick-Ass as a character. Bill did this piece for me as a commissioned work. I got the inspiration for it while gearing up for the release of the Avengers movie. The big push for Iron Man, then Thor, then Cap, then finally Avengers came together quite well I thought. But Kick-Ass is one of those 'stealth' Marvel movies (He's not a Marvel character per se but Marvel is the publisher house Millar went with) and I thought it would be great to see him try out. And of course the classic Legion cover seemed a spot on choice (Three Legionaires, three Avengers with solo movies -- er, sorry Brucie)
