Description Introducing Red Roger and Mallory's quarters inside their vessel, The Scarlett Skull. This is a recent update from my last (and poorly) attempt at their room. billybones0704.deviantart.com/…

Tour starts here: We see Red has collection of blades, sabers, and rapiers some forged by the great Spanish blacksmiths and one he stole from a warrior he defeated in the South China Seas.

The Scarlett Skull has sailed to many isles, some that aren't marked on the map. Red and the crew explore many different cultures to understand what islands are the best to locate. One particular mask he got back from one of his expedition was a Polynesian tiki mask from the Māori. This gift was given to Roger and Mallory to wish their future children a good life one day. Diagonal from the tiki is a crystal skull that Roger brought back from his scuffle with the Conquistadors in the hidden temples of Peru.

Below the masks is a certain treasure chest Roger keeps very close; a treasure of memories. From the day he passed pirating school, to his first hat, and his wedding day. Red also keeps plenty of his ancestor's journals to read upon their experience with Calypso's Cutlass and their adventures.

Captain's keep a few books to keep them studying onboard. Red, however, has entire collection of novels, half of them atlases, charts, maps, and classic literature, while the other half tell tales of mystical lore and creatures of maritime history. Knowing the world is a bigger place, Roger keeps an eye for the unimaginable. Take giant crustaceans and sirens for example (which he does not enjoy their company).

Inside the cranium of the Skull is the master bedroom and Red's table for his studies. A fine carpenter created a helm-like king size bed including a canopy draped with the finest red velvet. Mallory cannot keep her eyes off the prize, especially if it's a Queen's petticoat or the diamonds of the Maharaja. All her and her husband's coats, frills, and garbs go inside their closet.

Next to the closet we see a old slump of Red's grandfather's bagpipes. As much as she loves her hubby, Mallory would sometimes hid the insufferable instrument in random places of the ship just to enjoy at least 5 minutes of peace and quiet.

And the dining table is where we come full circle. Great feasts are served daily cooked by the ship's chef, Gingy. Lobster, octopus, minced pies, turkey, and a sometimes Red will concoct an old family recipe. It's a good thing Mallory keeps a few plants around to emit the fragrance. Of course Red can be a little picky when it comes to a few fruits and vegetables but Mallory tries her best to keep her hubby in shape.

And so ends our little tour. Red's cabin is an eye candy and I tried my best to fit in everything cohesively. Red's a pirate but he's also pirate with style.

Ohohohooo! Neat design, the bed however is a bit intimate to visually share next to a dining table if you ask me.
