How the crap did you get the flower to look that good. With my camera red is weirdly enough a bit too much and it just doesn't like it. This is very nice

It's really good to see what someone else with the same camera does vs me.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I've tried to take a picture of another rose ofΒ pretty much theΒ same color that was open, and it turns out so weird! Like really bright and kinda like a redish pink blob lol you cant see the petals. This one, since it was closed, I think I just got the right angle for it! It took some time I just had to find the right spot to stand with where the sun was shiningΒ with the right angle plus it's a bright pink color, and not red. I think red is the problematic color. and I don't know why! I'm gonna upload another photo here pretty soon of one of these same roses that's opened. I think also that the waterdrops add more to it so you can see the petals better. Thank you for the compliment!!

You're welcome. Most times if I take a picture of something red, I HAVE to go into the settings and switch the white balance to Tungsten. Otherwise it's awful.Β

I've never even thought about it, does it help much?

I don't know. Most photos to my understanding don't use red, unless you're me: Who is most successful with things that have red (Recently)

It depends on what you're taking a picture of. When there's a sunset I will try and use another white balance that favors the reds. That makes it look REALLY good.

I'll need to keep that in mind next time I'm taking red photos!
