The last two chapters (22 and 23) were so epic I had to give in to the urge of drawing something for the story.

The 24th/25th chapters haven't been submitted yet -although I know they're being written, so I'm merely imagining here what could happen...and maybe will happen-but I'd rather not because I don't want Astrid to die!

I couldn't help but imagine Astrid would, even in this situation, still tease Hiccup. (I think I need a tissue!)

Oh, I don't remember exactly. It was written in the story entitled "By Land and Sea" that Astrid got wounded but nothing particular was mentionned so I just went with it.

Well, I've read the most recent chapter (right when it came out) and I'm eagerly awaiting the next update as well. Unfortunately I can't do what you did and illustrate a perfectly probable outcome for their reunion. The facial expressions are great (though I wish you'd included more of Hiccup's face in this). But that's just me.

Actually, you don't know, and I don't know either. The only thing she told me is that we'd have to wait until chapter 25 to find out how the reunion between Hiccup and Astrid will take place and what will happen and IF it'll happen like what is portrayed here...

This picture is a pure hypothesis.

This is incredible, you just put an insain amount of what if's in my head (not that there wasn't already a large amount in there with chapter 22) I dearly hope Astrid survives, she needs to see that Hiccup is alive.
