Description HUGE FILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HTTYD crossover fever!!!

Here, HTTYD and Disney's Sword in the Stone.

I thought it would be funny to have someone tell Hiccup that the Earth is round and that there is a land yet to be discovered across the ocean...because everyone knows Vikings discovered America way before 1492.

AND, it was pretty funny to draw Merlin as the goat he is during that (epic) duel against Mad Madam Mim. No purple dragons!!

Oh: for those who don't know about that, "Starkad" is the name Astrid has given to her Deadly Nadder in my fics, so I used it here too. Meaning Astrid isn't far from here, as you can see...or rather "hear".

Oh, and of course Wart/Arthur and Hiccup are both fishbones, so...I think they'd get on well!

(And yes, I was totally lazy with the grass and background. And I have a horrible time drawing Deadly Nadders, so I also know Starkad kinda sucks here. )

If anybody's interested in getting the lineart...please feel free to ask.

I completely disagree with what you said about Starkad. Although Hiccup and Arthur are the center pieces in this, my favorite part is Starkad, so it definitely does not "kinda suck."
Also, I can imagine an irate Astrid chasing after her Nadder, and it is so funny in my mind. I like how you did that, it let us extend it a little in our minds to include her.

I am SO happy you mention Astrid, because that is also one of my favorite details about this drawing. Like I said to Calico in another reply, I first planned on having Astrid in the picture looking at Arthur and thinking something along the lines of, "And here I thought Hiccup was a talking fishbone..." but it turned out to be a pain in the neck and then I simply didn't have enough room on my sheet of paper, so I left her out and made her presence become implicit.

In my mind's eye, Hiccup and Arthur are so busy talking to each other that they don't notice anything that happens around them, including a certain Deadly Nadder chasing after Sheep-Merlin and Astrid chasing after said dragon. At least, until Astrid comes and grabs Hiccup by his tunic, telling him that "Mister Dragon Tamer" could at least help her on this.

I just love (sorry for the blatant lack of modesty) the idea of how the both of them would be completely focused on their conversation and absolutely oblivious to everything that happens behind them. And Hiccup drinking his hot beverage just adds to the impression that Hiccup doesn't even pay attention to a dragon's roar.

Until Astrid comes to tell him that "Mister Dragon Tamer" could at least help her on this, of course.
