There's gonna be fighting and bloodshed within the story, and it's going to be a rather long story once the whole thing is done, this here is only chapter 1. I don't intend to have any harm come to the child though obviously, it'd probably be a prank or something where she forms infront of him freaking him out. Or dropping a bucket of water on his head.

Possibly, I was thinking along the lines of absorbing DNA would likely make her sick for a time but give her the ability to shift into that person's form. I wasn't expecting more slimegirls for a while but it's a thought.

What your slime can do and what not is your decision, but an idea: What if she find a person she begins to like and that person is wounded. You said that your story will have blood in it. Maybe she could save her through absorption and transormation in an slime?
