Description Evolutionary relatives of Ribbonfish, Radiopisces' internal shell has developed more plates and multiple sturdy extensions that can function as weight-bearing limbs. Stiff-legged species either swim to filter plankton with sticky fins or pick through the sediment on the seafloor. Some even crawl up onto the beach for more foraging opportunity.
