I've been wanting to give this kind of image a try. Pretty hard I say. But it was a great experience (even if I failed).I have to say: I don't know how to draw her hair. Sorry if it looks like a solid thing, but I couldn't find a good way to fix it. And I think her ear should be lower, but I just noticed that at the end.
Also, the background sucks, I'm really not good at this yet. But I had fun doing the cake and the balloons.

I know it sounds wrong but I love seeing pics of Pinkie crying. She is soooooo annoying. I don't know how anypony puts up with her. She'd make me want to eat a bullet. Pinkie isn't as annoying to me as Rarity though. Rarity makes me want to go on a killing spree.

Awww, poor Pinkie. Nicely done, this picture really gets me in the feels. Her hair looks fine to me, and you may be right about her ear, but it still works. As for the background, everything is a-ok to me.

those two balloon on the ground and the cake is actually increase the emotion and made me cry... somehow it indicates to me that those two balloons are the last of many floating balloons that were there previously, but it already lost its helium, so it fall to the ground.. those slice of cake is actually used to be full cake, but because no one coming to her party, she ate those cake one by one, until the last piece. and she preserve it for anyone who might attend her party. this signify her last hope for someone to come... there were no confetti because they already swiped clean.. now she just wait.. and wait alone.. waiting for somepony no matter who he/she is, just to have a little party with her...

Wow, that's a really interesting analysis/interpretation. I say this cause the idea I had was kinda generic. I mean, I wanted to draw her and try a sad image, so I decided to add those details to try to give it some context. I even wanted to draw a few panels and create a short story about this "situation" but, so far, it's still just an idea in my head.

you're welcome.. sometimes, those kind of elements are "accidentally " attached to an artwork without anyone realizing it. well, every artwork has that.. this is just my interpretation of the work.. someone else could have a more meaningful or deeper interpretation.. good job..

Так жалко ее, так и хочется взять и обнять. Блин, был бы художником, наверняка бы нарисовал - как ее кто-то обнимает, и вытирает ее слезы а вместе с ними и саму печаль.
