Description
This watercolor is sold.This was a contest that I just could not pass up. I wanted to do something very imaginary and I've been meaning to incorporate a flying turtle in my art for a long while now. This was the perfect opportunity.
This was a water color I did, inked with sume ink, then digitaly painted over, texture added, and a background pattern.

So I loved this so much I got it tattooed on my leg! I hope you don't hate me for it. But my mom passed away in May and she loved turtles and this just made me think of her going to heaven. So I got a spin of it on me and would love to show you if you want.

I'm gad you told me though and I hope you have success with your struggle in stopping your self harming. you can add me to your thoughts In that when you look at your tattoo. After all this time, you're watercolors have always been and still remain incredible.
This feels so surreal, gives that atmosphere of being in a dream. The green, blue, pink, and aqua colors mix real well and compliment the overall presentation of this quite nicely.

Aww! I always thought sea turtles looked like they were flying through water. You incorporated the wings into the turtles anatomy perfectly! I also I love the mix of warm and cool colors in this.

I really like the chosen colors of the turtle bird (feels weird saying that lol) it reminds me of a barn swallow!

I can not remember what my friend called it..a Swiftle I think, or something similar. We have a lot of swallows here and I really love watching them. I was trying hard not to add toooo manny colors onto him

hehe swallows are so graceful! I loved watching them dart in and out of the horse barn I worked at. Well I'm glad with your color choices, makes it look more "swallowy" O_o

Of course! I looked at the other entries...Yours is the most detailed, and seems like it has the moost effort, it's less simplistic...It really has more in it, instead of simple computer flashy colours. I really think yours should be the one that wins.
