Yeah but even if it has good atmosphere and detail and whatever my stories still need polish, my pacing is absolute shit, my consistency is uneven and messy, my characters aren’t consistent and well-rounded enough (to me), and I almost never have motivation to write the ideas I do have because I’m a lazy piece of SHIT

It’s weird how I’m a better artist than writer because I’ve literally been writing for as long as I can remember and yet I’ve only been drawing for a year

I guess it’s just... I’ve studied drawing a lot more than writing and I also do it a lot more so I guess that helps

drawing is easier to improve, i think, because you generally look at more art that you take pieces from than you read,, since all your writing is made from scratch for the most part.
