Description A cherry pie in-the-making! This delicious piece is fit for anytime of the year. Doesn't it make you hungry? This piece is part of a cherry pie prep-board that I made recently. Please visit my gallery for a photo of a basket of cherries that also goes with this. All handcrafted from polymer clay by me in 1/12 scale.

Makes me starving. Cherry Pie is my most FAVORITE pie. A good cherry pie makes you melt even as you look at it and this is exactly what this does! XDDD

I use a liquid clay (Translucent Liquid Sculpey or Fimo Deko Gel) for the red center part and color it with red pastels/red paint. Then I use regular red clay and make tiny little balls for the cherries. Lastly, I dump all the balls in the red juice, and then place everything in the pie dish. (Liquid clays can be bought in craft stores... or you might have to order it online.)

Now I'm hungry xDDD How have you done the ''flour''?

Haa, thanks!

First I baked the piece, and then lightly applied white paint on the dough using a very small paint brush. Occasionally I take a paper towel (or something else like it) and dab it so that the flour isn't too heavy or "globby". It takes a lot of practice to get it right!

aww thank you! I will follow your advice. And, the brilliant red center.. did you use some like liquid latex? I don't know very well what it's, I haven't seen it on shops, so what did you use? o.o
