Description
Windblade was created as part of a fan survey done by Hasbro, which makes her rather unique amongst Transformers characters. Fans could decide on all manner of things (male/female, alt mode, weaponry etc) and the result is Windblade. The final product is very much a fanboy fantasy and the character could very well have just been ridiculed or forgotten. But then IDW got a hold of her and wrote her into the comics with a really interesting backstory, turning her into an compelling and well thought out character, and one of my favourite new Transformers.
