Very interesting idea, and great pic!
I wondered how Adora and Catra would turn out, if their upbringing would be reversed.
Although one note from me - I don't think Adora would have exposed toes and heels, even if she adopted clothing akin to Catra in canon - in turn I think Catra would expose her toes at least, even she had boots - after all her claws would be uncomfortable in closed footwear, and help her climb.

yeah you are thinking logically with the footware, but I see the designs as personality. Bare feet also means wreckless and informal. AU adora doesn't care for the fact that she would fight better with shoes on because she doesn't like them? Same goes for catra, she also will feel a heck of a lot more comfortable without those shoes but she knows it's horde uniform so she wears it out of respect? (just my idea)
