Pencil and charcoal painted digitally on Corel Painter 12 - close up there
Painted for a close friend who helped me so much. She raised me up until I discovered hidden capacities and new abilities.
It is an attempt to do a painting using the "negative space" composition rule

Fantastic work! The overall composition is very balanced and appealing. I'd suggest adding a little more depth of field, maybe blurring the grass closest to the viewer to add a little more focus on your subject, the elephant. Otherwise, and this is just personal aesthetics speaking, I might try to limit your palette to a smaller amount of colors the add more mood to the piece. What you've got here takes a lot of skill as is, so great job. Thanks for sharing!
