I would say more National Geographic than postcard, but still a bit away from your normal style.
Still beautiful. ^_~

It's a nice place I agree, but it's really really too expensive. And there are sooo many tourists...

Fantastic shot! And i think you're so afraid of 'becoming like the others' that you tend to cross out any good picture ... This one is amazing, and you can clearly see you took it, it does have your style in it...
If you try to stand out from the croud too much, you end up not standing out at all...

Thank you very much.
But you know, I am a big fan of contemporean art, so it pushes me a lot more to look for the conceptual side of pictures. For my works I don't want the Aesthetic side only on my pictures.
I want to combine both Aesthetism and Conceptualism, the more of the two, the best.
This picture doesn't carry any concept to me besides : "Here is Venice". I want people to search for more possible interpretations, I want my pictures to trigger their imagination, to make them think.
And, it's not about standing out of the crowd, it's about making things the way I want, whatever the crowd does.

Dude, I love that the reflection has more detail than the reality. Fantastic shot, even if it is postcard like (which I don't agree with but oh well.)

Reflections often have more details than the reality, because as it is a projection on a darker background, it allows more of the details that were bleached out (ermm yeah) by the sunlight to appear.

Thanks a lot.
Venice is definitely worth going, but avoid summer at all cost because :
_It's hot, so the city stinks (it already stinked a bit at some places in that freezing november days)
_The crowd, I was there in November, the less touristic month, however the place seemed to have more tourists than real inhabitants, so it must be awful in the most touristic time which is summer.
