Personality

  Sensei is a grumpy cat that doesn't like loud, annoying children. He can be rude, cold, and impatient, but if you can prove yourself in his classroom, he can be quite nice (read: he won't throw a ruler at your face during class if you answer a question wrong). In his classroom he is the leader, and he feels that everyone should listen to him. He often butts heads with head strong students, and isn't afraid to answer questions bluntly.

  In some classrooms, there may be a rule that says "There is no such thing as stupid questions."

  In Sensei's classroom, he has a poster that reads "90% of your questions will be stupid. Don't ask them." He made the poster himself and is quite proud of it!! If you compliment it you may be on his good side for three minutes, unless you do something he considers dumb.

Biography

Hiro was a very quiet child, and liked to draw a lot (however he was very, very bad at it). He was very calm, and always followed orders; however, as he grew up he began to get moodier and moodier, and generally became a violent punk in high school. His violent streak helped awaken his powers - often he would get into fights with other students, and would win - but winning began to get easier... sometimes all he had to do was punch the guy in the face and he'd get knocked out.

During one of his fights he had actually electrocuted his opponent - he could see blue sparks fly out, and he was intrigued, yet very scared, because he almost killed the guy. His opponent had to go to the hospital, but he healed well, and was able to leave within the same day. This scared him enough to stop fighting, and to stop releasing stress in unhealthy ways (good for you, sensei!!)

However, he felt lost as he graduated high school - what sort of job would he want? Without a clue, he applied to a University, and was accepted. His first year he met an amazing professor in a Physics class he was taking - the man was fascinated with energy, electricity especially. It was in this class, with this professor that Hiro had learned about EMP waves, and electrically generated magnetic fields, which helped him learn about his own powers.

It was because of this professor, whom Hiro admired and may have maybe had a crush on (but even if he did have one, it wouldn't matter because the professor was married) that Hiro wanted to become a teacher. Which he did.

One night, when Hiro was definitely not drinking his sorrows away, he applied to a Tutoring Group that needed some science tutors in his drunken stupor (just kidding, sensei definitely does not get drunk!!)! He had grabbed the application (which was the wrong application, he had accidentally filled one out for Seishun High School), filled it out, and attached a picture, which he had taken that night, and sent it in. The next morning he completely forgot about it.

A few weeks later, after he had graduated from the University and had been turned down for jobs several times, he received an acceptance letter in the mail. Confused, he had opened it, and to his horror, he found out he'd be teaching at a high school. Since this was the only job offering he had, he had to take it - rent was due in a week, and he was tired of eating instant ramen!!
