Elise 'Elle' Defoe. Casual, formal, and costume.
Film description- England, 1637. During the reign of King Charles I, Queen Henrietta Maria's court is in jeopardy as the Parliamentarians threaten mutiny. Elle plays a Catholic courtier with family in France in this re-imagining of the period, will she escape to safety or be caught up in the turmoil of approaching civil war?

I think she turned out nicely, coloured lighting ahoy. Wanted her formal to be simple so it'd contrast with the costume.

I have to say that the color choices of the outfits combined with their backgrounds are both very stylish and very, very beautiful.

All of them are gorgeous but I particularly love the costume version. The attention to detail on all of them is great - I've just loving that bag.
And I like the backgrounds too - they are nice and simple and suit the dolls but don't detract from the dolls at all.
I'm not so keen on the base faces but that's just a matter of personal taste. But regardless of that, I think that trying to add some emotion to the set would make the dolls even better, and show the character's personality more.

Thats a fair comment on the faces, I find it very hard to convey emotion in my drawings as well, I tend to just go for blank stares. Especially with dolls this size, its hard to do something different when the faces are so small.
Thanks

the middle and ... right one (the old gown) are to die for ! the shading is exquisite and so soft ! The dress looks like glimmering in the light same goes for the middle one in more modern terms classy trendy cool, sexy and totally ready for the Red Carpets The first one (complete left side) is also totally kick ass work, though my tastings disagree with the fashion, but that's only me but I gotta say WOW on the texture of the shirt and the shininess of the boots !! mucho bravo girl !!

haha, I tried to make her casual look like what all the celebs in LA wear on their down-time, hence the style. Its not entirely my style either tbh.
Thanks
