Description
i didn't use the best equipment for taking this photo once i'd set it up - a point & shoot camera with a flash, and normal kodak 200 film...but i like the raw quality that came with the photos. i had this shot converted to slide & a 16x20 inch digital print.and yes, that is real blood.

Christina Crawford meets projective psychology: This blot is supposed to reveal how you really feel about your mother. Virtually everyone sees two girls or women. Deprecating descriptions of the figures~ "witches," "gossips," "girls fighting," "spinsters" indicate poor maternal relations. Seeing the blot as thunderclouds instead of female figures suggests anxiety to some psychologists; seeing it as a walnut kernel may mean a vulvar fixation.
There is an entirely different side to this blot, but you're not supposed to see it. The white space between the girls or women can be interpreted as an oil lamp or similar object. It is claimed that only schizophrenics usually see the lamp.

It definietly is an interesting, unusual shot. As a stand alone image, it seems to be missing something, but It looks like it would be perfect as an addition (or perhaps even the main focal point) of a piece involving other images. ( I like 03's idea about the Kitten

it is an interesting image raw. i'm becoming more drawn to that kind of photo because of how easy a polished, clean image is to produce in a lot of cases. if you could splice this into one frame in a movie of surfers surfing or a kitten playing with string, you'd have a sweet piece of subliminal conditioning film.
i see a church gate in the blood, i wonder if that means i'm going to get married.

very interesting. i was browsing through the thumbnails and was like..wtf is that? and let me tell you...its quite different. i like the pattern of blood. (although i do wonder how the blood got there....) cool dude...
