Description
The king's chamber is where legend has it that the Duke of Guise was killed, throwing himself at the foot of the king's bed after being struck by eight bodyguards.
To evoke the king, Duban deliberately enriched with gold decor of the room and the bedroom set with royal lilies. It's furnished with a XVIth century monumental Italian bed , rebuilt in the XIXth century, from carved wood, painted and gilded, and a walnut cupboard with two French bodies from the late XVIth century.

There's a better photo on wiki , it would seem that the cupboard has changed since 2007, but it still looks walnut, french and XVIth century!
