I think, just few touches would make this work ideal, I think it needs a part of more sharp details! I feel that her eye and shape of the face would need that!

I appreciate the critique. I've already changed that damn eye about four times. But I'll keep sharp details in mind for the next one I do.
The Artist's Complete Guide to Drawing the Head - by William Maughan. This was my teacher that showed me how to use pastels, and this is his book he used to teach us. It's worth the read at the least. Every part of the book is helpful to create more realistic drawings. I'm trying to keep at using his techniques, and the more I practice him the more my pastel works - and any drawing I do - show better form and application of value.
