I do like the picture. Its strength is the subtle reflection of the sky in the water.
The weakness is the somehow dull sky. It is surprising, given the fact that the clouds appear to be dramatic. However, it's the technical level that is making the sky dull. At parts it is overblown and it's lacking texture and detail. The colors of the sky are weak too, in my opinion.
Another weakness, at least for me, is lack of big originallity in the overall composition. Except for the interesting reflection in the water, the rest of the image doesn't appeal to me much.

Beautiful scenic beach, almost magical how the sky reflects on the wet sand. Exposure this is great, composition works well as if your taking a long relaxing walk along the beach into the distant horizon.
The only critique I can give is that I feel the horizon is a little too centered. More foreground would possibly better this shot, giving a much stronger perspective and more in depth feeling. Another is the sky in the upper left corner, seems to be a bit washed out, more saturation and curves needed (possibly)
All in all this shot is great, seems to be pleasing the crowd!

Taken in Queensland Australia at a town called Rainbow Beach a couple hundred km north of Brisbane while on holidays.

I don't know if you made it to Western Australia, but the beaches south of Perth at Esperance are possibly the best I have ever seen with almost white sand and very clear blue water.

I was in Victoria, NSW and Queensland...
And I just love Australia....it's the most beautiful, breathtaking country I have every been to... I'm inlove with it...
