Just gorgeous Brett. Did you work much on the saturation in this, if you don't mind me asking? I have taken many shots of waves. The sand is not as vivid over here in the west, in fact it is closer to white.

Hi there. It is a very old shot that has been used a lot as a stock photo on stock exchange, but received very little attention on this site.
I have seen your white sands in the west, they are brilliant! This beach was more of a yellow colour though. It was taken near Merimbul,.NSW.
Yes I processed this image using elements, but do not think it is excessively saturated from memory. It is one of the first shots I ever processed with photoshop. Mostly levels and a slight hue adjustment towards red to improve the white balance as well as a saturation increase I think.

I love shots like this, where you can see the deep blues of the sky slowly transforming to the reds in the sand.

This very simple shot has been recieved remarkably well. I have put much more thought into others that get overlooked.
