Description Second of four images I have to do for a portfolio review.

The college I'm applying to has a certain set of drawings they wanted specifically, in addition to a portfolio.

This is Massey Hall, the drama building on campus. OH THE HIJINX OF THOSE WACKY DRAMA STUDENTS!

I always envy people who can execute a wonderful graphite landscape, fer some odd reason my building always come out leaning slightly to the left. The detail you put into the building is great and the fact that you let the trees and landscape around the building remain sketchy puts that much more emphasis on it. This piece couldn't have been done better.

Heh. The building was on uneven ground, so while the building is supposed to be straight, it's fairly hard for me to tell if I actually drew it that way (without a taking a ruler to my screen anyway). I may have also skewed the scan (which would be terribly sloppy), but I don't *THINK* so.

(It's been a looooong time since I did this peice... my memory is hazy)

Heh. Uneven buildings suck.. I often find myself leaning at the same angle as them to draw them straight! the piece, is still great and don't worry about the hazyness of your memory with the explanation, it really wasn't needed.

That is SO cool....*awesomely spectacular* Doesn't really need a critical comment...it's so beautiful already...maybe the bushes could've used a little work? nothin' else though.

prittty.... I wanna just step in and look inside ^.^

love the fuzziness of the plants, and the way you just did a silhoette of the building in the back.... shading is lovely, mwee, the level of contrast gives it a sort of depth ^.^

There's a full theatre, and supporting rooms inside, as well as a a wide rotunda upstairs, it's nice. Plus the soundproofed backstage area is great (all the walls are carpeted with huge poofy carpet and fibreglass frosting etc. ).
