A request time ago: Trunks as a ssj4. well, i had to make some decisions... how would his hair be? spikey? black violett? finaly i choose this way.Reason one: violet and red doesn't fit... (my opinion)
reason two: i thought a ssj4 brings a Saiyan back to his natural style, and this means black spikey hair (with a little color...).

in the original Japanese the saiyans are called Saiya-jins Β so thats why. just a carry-over from the japanese version...

I prefer thinking that in SSJ4 a half Saiyan becomes more similar to a full saiyan, including dark hair (it's for the color scheme). My own idea, you can agree or not.

The idea and look is amazeing u did a great job. It would be cool to see that in the series but the writer had it to only Goku and Vegeta could go to that level. U r awesome to do this.

You know, that is possible with future Trunks. When he helped Goku and the Z-Fighters defeat the androids, he had to fight them again in his own time.
But, what about after that? How did he fight Majin Buu and the rest of the warriors that came to earth after that? It is highly possible that there is a SSJ4 Trunks out there. Because, in his timeline, he is the sole hero of his planet.
