"I keep looking at these legs, these artificial extensions to my life and "usefulness", as an odd, neutral feeling sweeps over me. Thanks to them I am still alive, thanks to them I still have a chance, but I cannot help but feel bitter towards them due to their very definition and purpose. They were not installed out of kindness, but out of necessity, not out of generosity, but out of a desire towards profit and the extension of an investment.And I am puzzled, still unsure whether or not I should thank the doctors and surgeons who installed them."

This is all done in graphite pencils of varying hardnesses. I have dabbled in graphite before, and this is my third time using my new pencils. I do plan on doing more graphite art, and would very much appreciate pointers and feedback on it.

Creepy in a sense, rather dark, but yet not really. Don't know how to describe it. I'd like to give some constructive criticism, but I can't see much to correct. Perhaps the chest/torso is a tad long? It doesn't really detract from it though, like I said, not much to correct. XD

Did you achieve the texture by crosshatching or something like that (esp. in the background and on the floor)?

I filled it in in one direction, then went over it in a different direction. I also used a putty eraser I had made shiny with graphite to smear it around a little.

That drawing looks a lot better than your rough drafts you sent me, i like the facial expression and what he's doing with his hands. I only have one question, though i hate to sound critical, why is one leg all muscle-ey and robotic and the other looks like a leftover terminator bit?

like i said, not my kind of story. The writing style, while clearly talented, is not appealing to my tastes. Also I don't read furry stories, I prefer horror, or anything medievally. I do love a good historical fiction, so there is absolutely nothing appealing to me about furry stories.
