Description 4th concentration piece for my AP Art class. Used colored pencil. This is the Famine horse and rider of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, referenced in the Revelations book in the bible.

" When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come." I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine." A very powerful piece it is too. Has, like a lot of your work, a real edge of the chalk cliff feel to it - a visual vertigo of black lightening thrills.

This one looks great too lol I like how his foot is bare and he looks frozen , it definitely gives off a grim feeling !

Thank you! Out of the four, this one is definitely my second favorite because I like the perspective I used on the piece (the "World Conclusion" one is my fav)
