this is amazing!!! I always love it when someone takes an animated character and makes them look so real! I love the way you portrayed her. A lot of other artists made her frowning but I think that the fact that she is smiling so triumphantly at the end and so smug and sure of herself that makes her so eerie. You captured her persona perfectly. To me this looks like a younger salem aspiring to be who she is in the last episode, but that's just me. Anyway, keep up the awesome work. I wish I could draw like this!!!

Is that... really a twist? That's the general theory going around right now, kinda like how Summer Rose was theorized to be Ruby's mom. It just needed to be confirmed or explicitly denied.

It could also be Weiss' mom, given how she is never explicitly mentioned and the rest of her immediate family members have all been accounted for.

Well, Winter (Weiss' sister) said there semblance is hereditary and the semblance seems to be based off over the control of the elements of winter or at least ice. A maiden is someone that is at least unmarried, so going from there, it wouldn't be too far fetched of an idea that Weiss' semblance originates from the Maiden of winter.

Yeah, but her mother is a stretch. Maybe the FIRST maiden created the Schnee line, but I doubt it would be so direct. Especially because they know it's hereditary. IT would take a couple generations to figure that out.
