GIANT LUGIA IS GIANT.This is a (horribly late) Christmas pressie for IRL BFF Dustin. :3 As you can see from the picture, it is freaking huge. I'm totally making myself a shiny Flygon that big someday.
This sucker wasn't too hard to figure out, it was just really time consuming because of the size and again, completely hand-sewn. God I wish I had a sewing machine. The wings are stuffed with quilt batting to give them some weight but prevent it from balling down in the "fingers" because of gravity over time. I am a genius.

Hell if you're going to make Flygon, go for full size, it isn't much bigger (5'07" right?)

Oh my god. Lugia is one of my favorite legends and this is made of pure badass. And yes, that thing is pretty damn huge.

I attempted a lugia, but did so with AWFUL fabric, I must try again! Either way, You did a wonderful job, hun, much better than I will do . Aren't pokemon just the most fun to make plushies out of? And there are so many to pick from!

Augh, I freaking hate felt. XD FLEECE IS SO MUCH SOFTER AND LESS PRONE TO JUST FALLING APART.
I love the feel of minky best, but I hate working with it because it GETS EVERYWHERE when you cut it and it doesn't come in a wide range of colours unless you scour the globe.

It's more work than I'm really wanting to put out for free, I'd have to refigure the proportions again and everything and it's not something that's on my list. Maybe if I was commissioned to make a smaller one, I'd sell the pattern down the line, but it's not something I really want to give out for free.
