No problem Silent Hill graphics are very like what you have done....I think they called theirs a filter.It made is look grainy and the fog looked very realistic.And blood on the walls is always a nice touch,not forgeting the "furniture"

Hey, are you familiar with the game DOOM? And that you can edit practicaly every part of DOOM using hacking utilities?

Can you notify me when this is done? I'd like to use this as a texture in my custom doom game, if ya dont mind.

yeah of course I know DOOM, (love your avatar btw) I worship at the temple of The DOOMs frequently, I would be hournerd to have my stuff used in a doom game.

But first, how exactly did you intend to use it? (like the whole room, or just the textures?)

I can make it a sky texture. And then every linedef with a sky flat would display this picture. Its hard to explain, but you know when you look at something thats real far away and it seems to be in the same place no matter how far you walk. Like the moon.

I can put it just behind some bars, so it looks like the dungeon is larger than it actualy is.

Just an idea. I'd try to use it, but it might not work the way I imagined.


Also, I had the idea of drawing monsters and then pixelizing them in doom. So I'd draw every frame and every angle for a monster and then pixelize it and put it in doom. Each picture would be asigned a frame. Like the walking animation for an imp is TROO AABBCCDD.

And each angle for every frame is marked TROOA1 for front TROOA2A8 for slightly diagonal and TROOA4A6 for sideways and TROOA5 for when their back is facing you. I think each demon has atleast 50 frames in every angle.

wow, that sounds like an insanely complicated way to do animation.. thats why I prefer working in 3D.

Ok, well I know what your talking about (ive never used an engine as old as the doom engien) but ive personally made many mods and a full game, using several game engiens.

Im not entierly sure what you intend will work, because I think you might totally mess up your sence of scale (which is important in games like the original dooms) anyway, Ill let you use this room so long as I am credited, and I wish you luck with your project.

Yeah, I prefer using older games actualy becous I like the old flipbook style of animation. Sure it takes long, but the nostalgia and inturesting style make up for it.

And I'm not sure I'll actualy use it. Now that I think of it, the bed and table may throw off the illusion of a third dimension. I just wanted to expirament with it. And of course you'd be credited, I like your style of adding special effects. So maby I could use more of your pix if thats ok with you.

But at any rate I'd need a non watermarked version.

its not too hard, were making it in Flash, im doing it with another guy I met on my work exp a few monthes back, Im mainly doing the art on this project.

If you look around on the internet its pretty easy to find the tools and the instructions on how to get started making any kind of game

yeah was pretty awesome, though I still prefer Seven, on which saw was kinda based, even tho saw had more grusomeness it never really captured the real horror of Sevens revalations.

thank you, but no, They are a combination of my own photo refs and free texture resources, tho I dont think any one texture in there is in even close to its original state.
