Open Facts: The name “Kaminari” is derived from the Japanese word for “thunder,” as she was born during a massive thunderstorm. Her mother feared that her foal would be afraid having been born during such a treacherous storm, but Kaminari seemed comforted by the sounds of the thunder that roared loudly across the heavens. All through the night the little filly slept quietly until the rain clouds parted the next morning and gave light of the new day. Her mother knew that she was special and would grow up to be a very brave mare. When Kaminari reached the age of five she decided to leave from her family’s herd in search of healers that could teach her the ways of natural healing and remedies that would help her give aid to others in need. She achieved this goal by the age of eight and is still continuing to learn the methods of healing.

-She finds her most sense of serenity when the weather is stormy, she especially fancies thunderstorms.

-Her nature comes off being very quiet at first, but she is very outspoken and bold in personality. She is very brave and doesn’t appear weak or submissive in times if distress.

Private facts: In the Dackle herd she is not viewed as highly a healer as Hiroshi is, but she secretly strives to become a better healer than him just to prove her worth. There are times when she wishes she could break away from the Dackle herd and go someplace that would better appreciate the skills she has worked so very hard to achieve, but knows in her heart that she is privileged to be at one of the highest ranking herds in Los Lobos and doesn’t want to risk losing her place there in order to seek out others who would appreciate her skills more than those currently around her. In a way you could say that she silently competes against Hiroshi, however she will not openly admit this.

Character Info: Kaminari is a very strong and independent mare. Never allowing others to care for her and seemingly always aiding in the help of others.
-She is not the type of mare to allow others to walk all over her, she is very strong willed. Never a damsel in distress.
-Calm in nature but also very daring as well. Has a very mature side.

This is Kaminari's official ref sheet. I really like this mare, to me she is just as good of a healer as Hiroshi. I think the main thing I like about her design is the fact that she is fairly plain and natural looking. ^-^
