Open Facts: Ryuzo is known for being very overly jealous and resentful when it comes to his younger brother, Keygai. He feels he should have been the legitimate heir to the throne of the Fallen herd, but instead, his younger brother was deemed the sole guardian over it. Ryuzo feels much hatred towards his brother and his family, seeing as they wouldn't force Keygai to step down and allow Ryuzo to become the rightful heir, or so he feels. Their family feel completely approving of their decision in granting Keygai the Fallen herd.
-The bitterness he shows to his younger brother really outshines any other form of emotion between the two. They are still both very icy towards one another from the previous years fights and rivalry. They have not yet forgotten the truce they recently made, and that truce was to remain cordial when in the presence of the herd.
-Distant and sometimes hostile, his personality consist of a lot of pent up raw emotion, though he does a decent job at holding it in, he is somewhat like that of a ticking time bomb.

Private facts: Ryuzo does tend to be rather violent in behavior, and it’s not just towards Keygai, he seems to naturally act this way. He is a very resentful and yet remorseful middle-aged stallion. His regrets that he didn’t prove himself superior to his parents back when he and Keygai were young colts and they were trying to decide who should lead over the herd when either of them became of age, seems to dwell within his heart and nearly consume his mind. Keygai was always the baby of the family so therefore he stood a higher chance at getting just about anything over his older brother, Ryuzo, which is why to this day Ryuzo begrudges him so much.
-Rest assured that when the two brothers cross paths, there is always sure to be a skirmish or two taking place. They can’t even walk past each other without sneering and snorting, it’s really a shame though. When they were mere foals they used to get along so well, but that was before all the notions of herds and leadership came into play. In actuality, you could blame their parents for turning them both against each other.

Character Info: Ryuzo is a very angry horse, not anything brings him any sense of peace. He is constantly being reminded of his failures as a thriving stallion with every glance his younger brother gives to him. He cannot even stand to be in his presence, much less.
-He is a rather outspoken horse that isn’t afraid to speak his mind. To him, his opinion is the most important thing. He is a very well versed when it comes to his words, but doesn’t tend to use them to their full potential.
-Overall, Ryuzo is like a fallen nobleman with his heart, very courageous and bold, not afraid to say how he feels, very self-important, can at times be very stubborn and does have a very hot temper, and is primarily a solitary-seeking guy.

This is Ryuzo's ref sheet. He is the older brother to Keygai, and (so he feels) the rightful heir to the Fallen Herd that his younger brother leads.

I can honestly say that I enjoy this guy, it's almost as if you can feel his pain of him feeling betrayed by his parents.

He was designed off of a real horse at the stable where I board my own horse at, I loved her leg markings so much that I wanted to design her into a character, so I chose Ryuzo's design to use her on.
