My heart is here... but the rest isnt...These are happy days gone by...

This piece has been done with 2 pieces of stock photos from sxc.hu [link] - the land and mountain bits; the ruins.
The reflection was reflected off the lanmass, then airbrushed and painted additionally in parts. The sky is my own personal shot.

Not mentioning it is astonishing, which is clear to me, this reminds me of when I feel nostalgic about places I've never been to, only in dreams. So I wonder, did you feel the same at the time you drew this?

yes i did, although there's this one place that still that 'haunts' my mind... one day i'll create it... its far more tranquil and homely than this one!

it has a very calming nature to it... it's so incredibly beautiful. I wish i lived in a world like this... so serene and full of vigor and spirit! the colors work so well together... i love how the moist dark green contrasts with the bright blue sky. and the small white glows of dust in the bottom right portion of the image really give it a unique and portrays TO ME a divine essential being that makes up only a small but important part of this world.
it is blended together brilliantly, and the pictures that were chosen couldn't have been more perfect! I love your work!

I'm glad you noticed that dust on the right floating n the air, I really wanted and liked the idea, and i thought the detail came out nicely too - You spotted it! I dont think anyone has picked up on that detail!
This image may look like something very simple and like just one image, however, it is many images composed altogether... i couldnt believe it myself at first of the finished product... lol

The only thing that jumps out at me is that the castle doesnt quite fit.. I dont know what it is.. it looks pasted on... odd. Did you add it after the one you sent me?

...in a way, you could've already seen in with the way you blurred some of the scenery...there was a dark patch or so for one of the battlements...lol.
