Ok so this is my second attempt to sketch Amy Lee of Evanescence. Unfortunatly, my scanner sucks and i lost some of the detail , mostly in the hair and shaded areas. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy! Please tell me your thoughts on this. Is it better then the first one? or does it suck? I luv luv luv criticism.... with a couple of complements here and there of course

proportions are really good. could need some more shading i i guess some lines are kinda too hard.

The shading is good, proportions too. The details (eyes and ears) are little bit worse. I think the eyes should be brighter but I like it anyway

I really need to put there albums back on my iPod. I miss them... T_T. nicely done, The soft shading for her cheeks could use a little bit of work, but that like you said could be because of your scanner. The Shading in her looks a little weird as well. I like the symbol you put in there, the swirls and vines remind me of something from a Tim Burton film. I have seen her all that often, so I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it's a well-done drawing nonetheless.

i designed the swirls and vines on the symbol myself and i luv tim burton! so ur comment is very much appreciated! I am glowing lol. and yah, that scanner does ruin a lot of my shading, but i def. need to work on my shading more.

She is really beautiful. I love her eyes and her expression
I know the problems you are talking about. I know them far too well...
The proportions of her face are great. But I think that her upper lip is a bit too thin. The outline of her forehead (from her brow to where her hair begins) is a bit strange, too. And her ear loks a bit strange; a little bit too long perhaps.

But you did put them into the right place. When I try it they are always too high, too low, aslant, one side is longer than the other side...
