Gosh, the apartment feels so empty without these guys hanging up on the walls :<I can never seem to get a full group shot of all my pelts, but this will be the closest I can get until I can take them to my grandmother’s farm (large field for outdoor pics :3). There're a few missing due to being out for commissions or are currently in the mail.
I will say that there are a few that I’ll be selling in the next few months. Unfortunately, I haven’t bonded as closely as I would have hoped with some of the pelts, and instead of using them for crafts I’d rather send them off to new homes. Close friends get priority so I’ll be contacting them first prior to putting them up on either here or eBay.

Are any of these for sale? I really like the large (wolf?) under that white rabbit and the two white and grey ones at the back (especially the one 5th from the right when you look at the picture!)

Is that a brindle coyote in the back? We have some funny coloured ones (black, silver-ish, red, and a gorgeous dark brown monster I've seen a couple times) that run wild around here, but I've never seen a brindled. Dog mix maybe?
I'm so jealous of your collection, mine just got started, I can't imagine how long this must have taken to get! And the paws on that lynx, like, wow!

I love that lynx. I would love a lynx pelt, especially because of their cool gigantic paws. Unfortunately, they're protected here in Michigan. That one you have is especially gorgeous.
I'll have to keep an eye out, because that platinum is catching my attention.

You can get one in Michigan as long as it comes with a blue tag attached to it. Your state requires that you have proof the animal was legally harvested, but that's it (I have a friend in Michigan who owns a lynx pelt) :3!

I thought protected animals were off limits? I know lynx are fine in some other states. My DNR always gives me mixed answers.

Here's the jist of the laws for you:
"Only skulls and hides (not claws) of black bears may be traded. Cougar parts may not be bought or sold, and cougar roadkill may not be collected; cougar (and lynx, along with other endangered native species) trophies may under certain circumstances be imported; there are restrictions on importing cervid parts."
So you can't get a lynx from your own state since they're protected, but you can buy a legally harvested one from a state that allows the hunting of lynx, like Alaska

Oh man I'd kill for the foxes and the lynx. I'm so jealous of you! It's such a nice collection of such well-kept pelts! Hope the ones you don't want find good families that will take care of them.

I find them beautiful both ways. I don't like it when animal get poached or tortured to death. Nothing should suffer like that. But these animals either died of natural causes or had quick painless deaths and I respect them as if they're still alive.
