So after the toy pics and the some of the pics did for me for my KP and Batman stuff, it's finally back to my Wonderverse stuff! Here we have the Sensational Spiderette! What's her deal you may ask? Well, first you should have read my preview list I posted awhile back. What's wrong with you?!But incase you missed it here's the blurb giving a brief explinaton of her book:
High school sophomore Mary Reilly always worked between two worlds; the world of the cheerleaders and the world of the geeks. But thanks to a fateful lab accident, she now finds herself walking in a third world. The world of a superhero! Granted amazing spider powers from the accident, she took on the responsibility of costumed crime fighter and now swings through the bright lights of L.A. as the sensational SPIDERETTE!
There ya have it. Yes she's my version of Spider-Man/Girl but without all of the crap that's gone on lately in those titles to screw it up. I made her a cheerleader becasuse I liked the idea of her being both a nerd and a jock. Just something fun to play around with. Plus it was a homage to another character I named Spiderette a long time ago....[link]
BTW, for anyone wondering those "slashes" over her body are actually spider legs as she has big spider emblem on her back. And those extra eye pieces on the mask are just for show, I assure you.

She sounds like quite a fun character too, she must have an interesting school life being both a cheerleader and a geek.

Yeah I think Zearth really knocked it out of the park with this one. Spider themed but totally originally too. Which is hard to come up with nowadays.
Oh yes she has quite an interesting life. The cheerleaders all want her to stop hanging around the "nerd squad" while her geeky friends don't want her to pal around with the "snob squad". Very difficult position she's in. But somehow she makes it work. The fact that she helps a lot of the girls on the cheersquad with their homework certainly doesn't hurt.
