okhello all. i have finally finished this picture! ^_^ it has taken a lot longer then i thought, but i really enjoyed working on it.
i am so very happy with it. Feels like i learned a lot from the design class
wanted to submit it to this gallery as well

As Melissa said in her comment, I really don't know where to start with this because it's just so damn good. To be honest, I find it hard to believe that you charge so little for your commissions, comparatively speaking.
The detail and realism in this is truly mind blowing.
To start with the background, the water looks stunningly real, as though you could reach out a touch it and let it run through your fingers. The water pouring out from the wall somehow adds to the dramatic atmosphere of the piece as well. I love the designs on the walls, and the cracks and the antiquated, fantasy look of the designs and the broken mirror. Absolutely gorgeous.
Hades and Zara look perfect, and I can't stress that enough. I mean, you got all the technical things right about their designs but you also successfully captured the feel of the characters as well, which is even more impressive. They are intended to be extremely dramatic characters that have this very over-the-top romance and that comes through exceptionally well in this picture and in the pose and their faces. Hades looks so intense and Zara so captivated (partially in awe and partially in fear).
Everything looks so beautiful and realistic! Their clothing looks great, especially how you did the wet fabric clinging to them and the way you made her corset shine, showing the hard, metal texture of it. The professional looking lighting does wonders making the whole picture look three dimensional.
I really love their hair as well, and the anatomy is some of your best, in my opinion.

Beautiful. lovely structure, lighting! Love the faces, and his WINGS? oh man, those are striking. Nice effects on the water they are standing in, and their clothing. but man, that background? Thats very much Aces!
