Hi there!
I immediately thought of the ironic life can be, I mean, an object that is supposed to protect us fails on us and even do worse than failure, it put us in danger. Thatβs how I see even my umbrella rains on me, like a metaphor to those false friends, who let you down and get you even worse then you are when you have a bad day or bad timeβ¦
I can also just imagine one of those No!-days, where your character could get up in the morning, late up for class, flunk in some test, see his girlfriend kissing his supposed best friend and when the day is nearly over it starts raining (on that already βrainy dayβ), he opens the umbrella and kabam!: βeven the umbrella rains on me!β he criesβ¦

Wow, the idea is certainly a strong feeling. I like how dark it is... only the eyes shining. I like the scribbly effect where the text is... it gives it a certain unexplainable feeling. I find it intriguing that the rain is ONLY under the umbrella... Safety itself turning on you. Life really sucks sometimes, doesn't it...
